Kristen Garris is a Los Angeles-based filmmaker and video editor whose work has collectively garnered millions of views worldwide. Her clients include Netflix, A24, Snapchat, Google, Vice Media, Brand New School, Hecho Studios, and Vogue Magazine. She has worked on a range of projects, including animated series, feature films, documentaries, commercials, short films, webisodes, and branded content. She also worked as an assistant editor for A24’s critically-acclaimed “Everything Everywhere All at Once”, kick-starting the film’s post-production process. In 2020, she was recruited by Netflix to work as an editor on the hit animated series "The Cuphead Show!" based on the popular video game of the same name.
She is currently writing and developing her first feature film.
Kristen holds a BFA in Film and TV Production from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, and an MFA in Film Directing from Brooklyn College’s Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema. She is a proud member of the Motion Picture Editor's Guild of America.
